Punchcard was created both out of a need, and a passion for being a loyal shopper various places where we love to shop.

The need is simple: nobody likes to carry a bunch of punchcards in their wallet, although everyone wants to get credit for each purchase that they make at their favorite stores, restaurants or merchants. These punchcards get lost, accidentally thrown in the wash with your pants, or you end up forgetting them when you need them most - at the point of purchase.

At the same time, we love the places that we all frequent, and after all we visit these places a lot, so getting credit for being that loyal shopper sure would be nice.
We thought to ourselves, “wouldn’t it be great if these places could know that you’re a loyal shopper, and could bonus you with a big “Thank You” in the form of a discount, cash back, or free stuff for shopping there?”

We also thought from the merchant’s perspective, “wouldn’t it be great if I could easily identify who my frequent customers are, and push amazing offers to them that only my best customers could get so I could create an incentive for them to come back more frequently, and grow my business with my best customers?”
